Facelift
A facelift lifts the deeper tissue of the lower face and jawline back toward where it once sat, rather than only pulling the skin. The neck can belong to the same plan, while the upper eyelid is decided separately.
Face, nose, breast, abdomen, arms, legs and body contouring.
A facelift lifts the deeper tissue of the lower face and jawline back toward where it once sat, rather than only pulling the skin. The neck can belong to the same plan, while the upper eyelid is decided separately.
A neck lift treats loose skin, vertical muscle bands and fullness under the chin as separate findings. It is a different operation from removing fat beneath the chin alone, and its extent follows what the examination shows.
Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, removes excess upper-lid skin and reshapes lower-lid fat bags, and these are two separate decisions. A heavy brow is a different question that the operation does not answer.
Rhinoplasty reshapes the nose by reading the bridge, the tip and the breathing separately, so that each is changed only where it needs to be. This page concerns a first operation, not a revision.
A brow lift raises a brow that has descended and now sits heavily between the forehead and the eye. It is not added when the brow already sits well, and it is a different operation from eyelid surgery.
Double chin surgery removes fat and fullness beneath the chin when the skin and the neck bands are not the main problem. Tightening a loose neck and losing weight lie outside what it treats; examination separates fat from skin.
Cheek reduction removes part of the buccal fat pad through a small incision inside the mouth, which softens a rounded lower cheek. It does not change the cheekbone, so it suits a face whose fullness sits low and soft.
Jawline contouring begins by reading why the lower face looks soft: fat under the chin, loose skin along the jaw, or a small chin. The plan then treats that cause and does not move the jaw bones or change the bite.
Cheekbone contouring adds or balances volume over the cheekbone and the midface, so that light falls more evenly across the face. It does not remove buccal fat, which is a different operation for a different part of the cheek.
Ear surgery reshapes the cartilage and the fold of the ear so that it sits closer to the head and looks in proportion with the face. The scar is planned behind the ear, and the operation does not treat hearing loss.
Fat transfer uses your own fat to restore volume to a face that has lost it, most often in the cheeks, temples and around the eyes. Part of the fat is absorbed in the weeks after, so the plan is built with that in mind.
A lip lift shortens a long distance between the nose and the upper lip, so that more of the lip shows and the upper teeth appear a little at rest. The scar usually sits under the nose, and the operation is not offered to everyone.
A breast implant adds volume to a breast that lacks fullness, and that shortage of volume is the only problem it answers. Size, pocket and scar are drawn from what your tissue can carry, so the plan begins with an examination.
A breast lift raises the nipple and removes extra skin so the breast sits higher on the chest. It does not add volume, and the scar follows how much skin must go, not a pattern chosen in advance.
Breast reduction removes heavy breast tissue and skin, lifts the nipple and eases the strain on the neck, the shoulders and the grooves left by bra straps. It is not weight-loss surgery, and the amount removed follows your complaint and your tissue.
A breast lift with implants is planned only when a breast is both low and short of volume. The lift sets the nipple and the skin, the implant adds the fullness, and the examination may separate the two operations.
Fat transfer to the breast moves your own fat from another area into the breast to add a modest amount of fullness. Some of the fat is absorbed afterwards, and the donor area is named in the written plan.
Gynecomastia surgery reshapes an enlarged male chest by removing glandular tissue, excess fat or both, depending on what the examination finds. It is not a hormone treatment and it is not a weight-loss operation.
Revision rhinoplasty is surgery on a nose that has already been operated on, where scar tissue and missing cartilage change what can be done. It is less predictable than a first operation, and the plan begins with the previous records.
Nose tip surgery reshapes only the tip of the nose, and it is planned when you accept the bridge as it is. Breathing is still checked, and it is not a full rhinoplasty, which is stated in the written plan from the start.
Lip filler adds temporary volume to the lips with hyaluronic acid, injected in a short visit without surgery. It shapes the lips but does not shorten the space between nose and lip, which is a different operation.
A forehead lift repositions a brow that has dropped or shortens a forehead made tall by a high hairline, through an incision placed at or behind the hairline. They are two different complaints, and the plan names which one is being treated.
Almond eye surgery supports the outer corner of the eye so that it sits slightly higher and the eye line looks more almond-shaped. It does not remove eyelid skin and it is not a brow lift, which the written plan states from the start.
A back lift removes extra skin of the upper and mid back and flattens the fold that sits beside the bra line. The complaint is usually the length of the skin, not fat, and liposuction does not erase that fold.
Back liposuction thins the fat of the upper back, the bra-line roll and the flanks, provided the skin is able to draw back in. It does not cut away a fold of skin; loose skin is a back lift, not this operation.
A tummy tuck removes loose skin of the lower abdomen and can repair a separated midline muscle. Liposuction does neither, which is why the two are chosen on what the examination finds.
Waist liposuction thins fat at the waist and lower abdomen when the skin is able to shrink back. It does not repair muscle, does not remove a hanging apron of skin, and does not narrow the ribcage or pelvis.
A mommy makeover is a name for combining the complaints left after pregnancy, most often the tummy and the breasts, and each part is chosen one by one. It is a plan built for one body and not a fixed package, and it does not promise the body from before pregnancy.
Abdominal etching outlines the muscle a person already has by removing fat in the lines between it. It does not build muscle or replace training, and it suits close-lying skin and a thin fat layer.
An arm lift removes loose skin of the upper arm, often after a large weight change or with age. The scar along the inner arm is explained plainly, and liposuction does not remove that skin.
Arm liposuction thins upper-arm fat when the skin can recoil. It does not cut away a hanging skin curtain, and the change in circumference is described as modest.
A thigh lift removes loose skin of the inner thigh. The scar sits in the groin and, if the excess is long, can continue down the inner thigh; liposuction does not remove that skin, and the operation is not weight loss.
Thigh liposuction thins inner and outer thigh fat as separate zones, and suits skin that can recoil. It does not lift loose skin and it is not a way to lose weight.
Calf contouring addresses the shape of the calves and the gap between them, using the patient’s own fat or, if fat is not enough, a calf implant. It is not bone surgery and it is not a thigh lift.
A buttock lift raises a descended buttock by removing skin, usually from above. It does not add volume; the scar may sit at the waist or upper buttock, and it is separate from fat transfer and implants.
A buttock implant adds volume with a silicone implant placed in the buttock when fat is not enough or a firmer projection is the aim. It is not a fat transfer, and it does not build the shape from your own fat.
A Brazilian butt lift moves your own fat from a donor area to the buttock. It is not an implant. Some of the fat does not survive, and enough donor fat is required.
Body liposuction thins fat in more than one area when the skin can recoil, and each area is written on its own line. It is not weight-loss surgery and not a tummy tuck.
Genital aesthetics is offered to adult women only. Labiaplasty and vaginoplasty are separate operations, not one package, and each is decided on its own after examination.
