Fat Transfer to the Buttocks in Turkey

A Brazilian butt lift is an operation that moves fat from a donor area, taken by liposuction, to the buttock. The fat is your own, so no implant is used and nothing foreign is added. Some of the fat does not survive after it is placed, so the volume seen in the first weeks is not the final volume, and the surgeon plans with that in mind. Enough donor fat is required; a slim person with little fat to take is more often shown an implant instead. In Turkey the decision rests on how much fat can be taken safely, on the shape of the donor area and on how the buttock is to be filled. The aim is a fuller outline made of soft tissue, and no result is promised in advance.
What it addresses
In the operation fat is taken from the donor area with liposuction, prepared and placed into the buttock in small amounts at different depths. This is a transfer of your own fat, not an implant, and nothing is placed that stays as an object in the body. Because some fat does not survive, the buttock is not filled to a final volume on the day; the surgeon places what the tissue can take. Pressing in more than the tissue accepts harms the fat that was placed, so the amount is limited on purpose. The donor area is also changed by the liposuction, and that is part of the same plan.
Who it is considered for
A Brazilian butt lift is considered when the buttock is flat or small and there is fat elsewhere on the body, for example on the abdomen, flanks or thighs, that can be taken. A person without enough donor fat is not suited to this operation and is shown the implant instead. Weight should be steady, since weight that keeps moving changes both the donor area and the buttock. Smoking, skin quality, health history and earlier operations are asked before a plan is built. Because some fat does not survive, the plan is made on the body and not on a photograph.
How the plan is made
In the first days both the donor area and the buttock are swollen and sore, and the shape seen is not the result. Early sitting is limited, since pressure on the buttock can harm the fat that has just been placed. How to lie, when to use a cushion and when sitting is allowed again are explained step by step. A garment is worn over the donor area, with care that it does not press the buttock. Walking in short stretches is encouraged, while strong effort waits until the surgeon allows it. What the written plan settles
At examination the surgeon looks at the buttock, the donor areas and the amount of fat that can be taken without risk. Which areas are used, how the fat is placed and how sitting is limited afterwards are written at the same visit. The planned stay in Istanbul is 6–8 days. That time covers the operation, the first wound check and the first instructions for sitting and lying. Op. Dr. Ramazan Güler clears the flight home once swelling and the wounds allow it. The final shape is not judged in the hotel while swelling is still there.
