Neck Lift in Turkey
A neck lift treats loose skin, vertical muscle bands and fullness under the chin as separate findings. It is a different operation from removing fat beneath the chin alone, and its extent follows what the examination shows.
A neck lift is an operation that restores the contour between chin and neck by treating what has loosened there: skin, the platysma and the fat beneath the chin. The platysma is the thin sheet of muscle across the front of the neck, and when its edges separate they show as vertical cords. The surgeon decides which of these findings needs work rather than applying one standard step. This is not the same as removing fat under the chin alone, which leaves loose skin and bands untouched. What it addresses
Depending on the findings, a neck lift may combine several steps: removing a measured amount of fat under the chin, bringing the edges of the platysma together in the midline, and redraping the skin upward and backward. The operation tightens and reshapes the neck but cannot replace skin quality, and the contour between chin and neck still depends on bone structure, including a small or receding chin.
